
Batman takes his time saying goodbye before sacrificing his life for Gotham City . . .

Adam West (and apparently no one else who appeared on the television show) helped launch a new toy and apparel line for the 60′s Batman television series.

If true, the move seemingly puts the Warner Bros./DC brand back in the mix with Marvel and the new Star Wars initiative.

Some people weren’t crazy about Tim Burton’s Batman Returns, but I always found it to be one of the most underrated live-action film in the Batman canon.

Some of the work looks a little closer to the traditional costume than the final product . . .

Artist Mark Dos Santos has created some great Batman art inspired by Norman Rockwell’s classic Saturday Evening Post covers.

Some great new concept art has appeared on-line featuring The Joker, the masked men at the bank heist and Harvey “Two-Face” Dent.

Johnson says it’s the movie franchise he is “100% just completely in love with,” and mentions his affinity for the Tim Burton version.

It looks like the consensus is that The Dark Knight Rises is good, but not better than The Dark Knight . . .

Maybe we were spoiled by the first poster of Batman’s mask broken on the ground . . . The new poster from The Dark Knight Rises is good, but not great. The film opens July 20.
