Chris Hemsworth Will Deal With The ROBOPOCALYPSE

According to Deadline, Steven Spielberg has chosen Chris Hemsworth as his lead for Robopocalypse. The film, written by The Cabin in the Woods scribe Drew Goddard, finds mankind finally perfecting artificial intelligence. But the new creation, Archos, decides that it should protect its new robo-life and all of its mechanical buddies from its human “masters” and promptly launches a war against us. The film follows members of a resistance fighting back. The film sounds like some sort of ode to 2011: A Space Odyssey and The Terminator with the added bonus of Spielberg’s touch. Hemsworth is on a roll this year after The Avengers and Snow White and the Huntsman became summer blockbusters. Aside from Robopocalypse, Hemsworth has the Red Dawn remake, Ron Howard’s Rush, Thor: The Dark World and a potential Snow White sequel on his slate.
