Synopsis: While that idea is still broached here, the other big central theme is given some breathing room, with Dracula (Sandler) doting on his 118-year-old daughter Mavis (Selena Gomez). While she wants to get out of the musty old castle and explore the world, the vampire would rather she stay safe. But then goofy tourist Jonathan (Samberg) shows up and falls for Mavis. Cue chaos! Hotel Transylvania features the voices of Steve Buscemi, David Spade, Kevin James, Jon Lovitz, Fran Drescher, Molly Shannon and Cee-Lo, but the real appeal for us is director and Samurai Jack creator Genndy Tartakovsky.
