The Woman in Black starring Daniel Radcliffe ended up being a nice hit for CBS films this year. The film quietly grossed $54 million dollars in the U.S. and an additional $73 million dollars overseas. It doesn’t take much for horror films to get a sequel, and Black is no exception. Hammer films have announced a sequel that will be written by Jon Croker (who worked on the story for the first film). Here is a newly released plot synopsis:
“Seized by the government and converted into a military mental hospital during World War II, the sudden arrival of disturbed soldiers to Eel Marsh Harsh has awoken its darkest inhabitant. Eve, a beautiful young nurse, is sent to the house to care for the patients but soon realizes she must save them from more than their own demons. Despite Eve’s efforts to stop her, one by one they fall victim to the Woman in Black.”
